Useful Information

On the Beach

Use sun block at all times. The perfect protective factor depends on each individual; however, it is highly recommended that kids use full protection sun block cream or protection factor 50 and adults 15 to 30 factor.

  • As precaution measurement, we recommend buying mosquito repellent as soon as you arrive in Sardinia and wear it at all times. Local pharmacies provide plenty of choice for it.
  • Make sure there is an interval of at least 3 hours between eating and swimming in the sea or pool. Although it is a very rare condition, this is needed to prevent possible stomach cramps and other possible severe and even fatal complications.
  • If you smoke, make sure you dispose your cigarette butts in the appropriate bins. Cigarette butts are one of the worst pollutants in the beaches as they take around 200 years to decompose.
  • Sardinia is a beautiful and fragile environment. So, please avoid taking shelves, stones, sand, flowers, etc. and respect it at all times. You will find the same beach over again the next year.
  • If you travel with your passport make sure it is valid for at least 6 months. This is an international requirement and checks will be conducted at the departing airport.
  • Stay safe and Have Fun!!!
